***Preliminary*** Based on a CMOS sensor, this camera design provides a high speed (60 frames/sec.) solution with 1920 x 1080 pixels (HDTV Resolution) for a wide range of applications. The CMOS imager has a rolling shutter, but can be used with external strobe (flash) illumination to provide non-distorted images of moving objects. Additional features will include a snapshot mode, as well as strobe output control mode to help synchronize lighting.
